Read the Changes.txt file and OneClick Users Manual.pdf for more
detailed information.

OneClick.exe is the file your remote customer runs.

WebView.exe is the file you can place on your website for your
technician to run if connecting via repeater from an off-site system
that does not have the UltraVNC Viewer installed. If you do not have
the -id tag in your helpdesk.txt file it will not be created.

If the port number is a ? (myaddress.com:? ....) the
customer will be prompted to enter the Workstation (port) number.
This only works in [DIRECT] mode. This allows you to support all
of your technicians from a single customer support download file.

If the -id tag is left blank (-id -connect....) the customer will be
prompted to enter the ID code. This only works in [DIRECT] mode.

If the technician is at a system with the UltraVNC Viewer installed,
the technician should use the installed UltraVNC Viewer to connect.

Advantig OneClick is a free remote support system for non-commercial use.
If you wish to use OneClick for commercial use or in a commercial
environment, an unlimited license is available as a one-time purchase
that removes the Non-Commercial Use prompt.

Updates and upgrades are free. Simply download the most recent version
and install.

The Creator is licensed for use on only one workstation per license
but the customer modules it creates may be used to support an unlimited
number of customers for multiple technician seats anywhere in your
organization. For more information, Email sales@advantig.com or visit
our website at http://www.advantig.com/oneclick

It is an add-on for UltraVNC Single Click (SC) that creates customer
modules and adds additional options that allow you to easily change your
UltraVNC SC settings making dynamic IP address use simple. With it's
built-in WebGet web-based configuration, you don't have to recompile your
support module or redistribute them if they were installed as part of a
permanent or pre-installed system.

If the remote user has administrative privileges and is running Windows
2000/XP/2003, it elevates the UltraVNC SC program to system level so you
will be able to send Ctrl-Alt-Del keystrokes, log off/on and reboot the
remote computer. It will automatically connect back to you if you have
the [DIRCECT] tag in your helpdesk.txt configuration file.

If the remote user is running Windows 95/98/ME this version will NOT
auto-connect back to you on dropped connections or reboots.

An icon named "Stop Remote Support" is placed on the remote desktop to
stop the OneClick service. If you simply close the viewer window without
clicking the icon to uninstall the OneClick service, it will re-run
15 seconds after the program is stopped. If you have the [DIRECT] tag
in your helpdeskt.txt configuration file it will continue to connect back
to you automatically 15 seconds after your reject the call or close the
viewer window or when the remote computer is booted. The icon will only
be seen if OneClick is running as a system service.

The icon that is displayed on the desktop to stop the service is the
(optional) file located in the SC Source folder named stop.ico and must
be an icon (ico) to work. It is best to keep the colors and size as small
as possible to keep your customer module download size small. If this file
is missing the default stop sign icon will be displayed.

You will need to use the OneClick System Configuration icon named
"System Boot Configuration" on the remote desktop to boot the remote
system into safe mode with networking if no operator is at the remote
workstation to hit the F8 key.

The icon that is displayed on the desktop to reboot the remote system into
safe mode is the (optional) file located in the SC Source folder named
boot.ico and must be an icon (ico) to work. It is best to keep the colors
and size as small as possible to keep your customer module download size
small. If this file is missing the default configuration icon will be
displayed.

Icon1.ico is the icon displayed on the remote customers tray menu when the
session is not connected

Icon2.ico is the icon displayed on the remote customers tray menu when the
session is connected

Icons for each host in your helpdesk.txt folder will be created and placed
in the Advantig OneClick folder on your desktop with the appropriate DSM
plugin (encryption) listen or non-DSM plugin listen depending on the host
settings in the helpdesk.txt file that is located in the SC Source folder.
You may move the icons if you wish or edit them to listen on other ports.

It automatically adds the UltraVNC SC viewer (VncViewer.exe) and Repeater
(Repeater.exe) to your Windows XP firewall to help simplify workstation
installation and to help prevent inbound customer calls from being blocked.

There is a port test icon named "Test your OneCLick Port" in the Advantig
OneClick folder to help you verify incoming connections are reaching your
workstation through your NAT router or firewall.

UltraVNC SC supports Repeater mode and Direct mode to enable both the
viewer and the server to establish connections from behind a firewalls
if you are away from your workstation at a location such as a hotel or
Internet Cafe. The UltraVNC Repeater is included in the OneClick package
along with shortcuts to simplify running it as a service or an application.

The splash that is displayed when running the customer module is the file
located in the SC Source folder named Splash.bmp and must be a bitmap (bmp)
to work. It is best to keep the colors and size as small as possible to
keep your customer module download size small. This is not the same file
used on the connections menu.

The splash that is displayed in the winvnc connections menu is the file
located in the SC Source folder named logo.bmp and must be a bitmap (bmp)
to work. It is best to keep the colors and size as small as possible to
keep your customer module download size small. This is not the same file
used on the customer module splash.

OneClick is not based on our DualDesk product and DualDesk is not based
on UltraVNC SC so the look and feel and functionality of DualDesk cannot
be duplicated by the OneClick add-on. It would require major changes to
the UltraVNC SC source code. We do not use the UltraVNC SC program and
DualDesk pre-dates UltraVNC SC by more than a year so we are not familiar
enough with the UltraVNC SC source code or familiar enough in it's use
to make any change to their program or to answer any questions. The
UltraVNC SC source code can be found at www.uvnc.com if you wish to make
changes yourself.

The next version of OneClick, v2 (currently in beta testing) has a wizard
to create the helpdesk.txt configuration file, supports delayed connect
as well as display an on-screen timer, logs total session time independent
of reboots or connections, has built-in options to add a button to the
browser toolbar, create an icon to start OneClick from the web without
using a browser (similar to the DualDesk WebStart program) and has a
toolbox for user defined links to tools such as virus removal programs,
diagnostic etc... and supports plugins to allow you to add your own utility
programs such as voice chat or invoice emailers.

If you are unfamiliar with the UltraVNC SC program, visit their website
at http://www.uvnc.com for information and help with their program.

How to use:

If you use the [DIRECT] tag in your helpdesk.txt configuration file
the selection menu will not be displayed to the customer and no image
files will be used in the customer module making it a smaller download.

Simply put all the UltraVNC SC files into the SC Source folder under
the SC Creator folder. (The setup program already did this for you)

 C:\
   |
  Program Files
             |
            Advantig
                  |
                 OneClick
                       |
                      SC Source

Put the VNCviewer.exe, MSRC4plugin.dsm and RC4.key files in the SC Creator
folder (The setup program already did this for you)

If you run the creator with no command line parameters it will display a
prompt asking if you want to use the WebGet option.

The WebView.exe file gets the VNCviewer.exe file from the SC Creator folder
but takes the MSRC4plugin.dsm and RC4.key files from the SC SOurce folder
to ensure compatibility with the OneClick.exe file.

If you run the Creator with the URL as the command line parameter it will
skip the prompts and assume you want to run the customer module as a system
service.

Command line usage:

  Creator.exe <webfile>

  Examples:
           Creator.exe
           Creator.exe http://www.advantig.com/helpdesk1.txt
           Creator.exe http://123.456.789.0/helpdesk2.txt

Web based configuration works by retrieving the UltraVNC SC configuration
file (helpdesk.txt) from your a website instead of having it hard-coded
into your support exe.

If the configuration file does not contain [TITLE] as the first line, it
is treated as a message file and will display up to 256 characters of the
first line of the file as custom message. You can use this to inform your
clients that you are unavailable or closed.

If the configuration file cannot be retrieved for any reason, the following
message will be displayed to the user:

The technician is currently not available.
     Please try again later . . .

The configuration file can also be edited or manipulated using web pages if
it is a PHP/ASP/CGI/PERL/JAVA powered site or it can be uploaded via FTP or
HTTP file transfer.

The helpdesk.txt file can be stored with any name on the website. It is
renamed to helpdesk.txt when copied to the install folder.

It tries 3 times to download the file before notifying the user of a problem.
